The Short Answers
Some questions reach our inbox often enough that they deserve a page of their own. Here they are, answered as briefly as we can manage. If yours is not on the list, the contact page explains how to ask.
About the site
What is MF Gambling Services?
A reading site that explains online gambling for adults: how slots are built, how sports and esports bets are priced and settled, how rules differ by country and what helps people keep play under control. The longer version is on our About page.
Is there anywhere on this site to place a bet?
No. There are no games, accounts or wallets on this site, and we never handle anyone's money.
Who writes the articles?
Three writers using pen names, introduced on Seats at the Table. We do not claim professional credentials, and every article is checked by a second member of the team before it goes up.
Is the site for everyone?
It is for adults aged 18 and over, or the higher legal age where you live. If you are younger, please leave the site.
About the articles
Can reading your guides make me a winning player?
They will help you understand what you are paying for, which is not the same thing. Every game and every bet includes a share kept by the operator, and no feature, system or hunch removes it. We explain that share rather than pretend it is not there.
Why do your examples use made-up teams and prices?
Invented examples let us show exactly how a bet settles without suggesting a real market or a real operator. They also do not go out of date when a line moves. Our guide to the vig is a good example of the approach.
Why does every article end with a line about local rules?
Because the same bet can be licensed in one country, restricted in the next and banned in a third. We would rather repeat the reminder than let anyone assume an explanation here means a game is allowed where they are.
Why do so many articles focus on Asia?
A good part of our older writing followed online play in Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and nearby markets, and readers keep asking for more. Newer articles cover topics that apply wherever betting is permitted.
About rules and safety
Am I allowed to gamble online in my country?
That is a question only your local rules can settle. It depends on your country and sometimes your region, and it changes over time. Your national regulator or an official licence register is the place to check.
Where can I find help if gambling is becoming a problem?
Playing It Safe lists warning signs, useful habits and how to find a free support service in your country.

A few more questions from readers
Short replies on how the site is put together and what it leaves out.
Why do the bet-type articles always show a percentage above 100?
That total reveals the margin inside the odds. Showing it is the clearest way we know to put a price on a bet.
Do you tell readers which side to back?
Never. We explain how a bet is built and settled; choosing whether to place one at all is up to each adult reader.
Can I suggest a bet type or slot feature to explain?
Please do. Write through the contact page with the term that puzzled you, and it goes on our list.
What happens when you get something wrong?
We check the report, fix the page and keep the correction visible in the text where it matters.
