Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to information about you when you read MF Gambling Services or write to us. The short version: very little is collected, nothing is sold, and most of what we could know about a visit we simply never see.

Who is responsible

The site is run by the small editorial team described on Seats at the Table. For anything to do with your personal data, write to editor@muzikfetish.net. That inbox is read by the same people who write the articles.

A site made of fixed pages

MF Gambling Services is a static website. Every page is prepared in advance and delivered to your browser as it is. There are no reader accounts, no logins, no comment boxes and no payment forms, so there is nothing on our side that stores a profile of you. We do not use analytics software, advertising networks, social media plugins, tracking pixels or fingerprinting of any kind. Pages do not load scripts from third parties that could follow you to other sites.

Server logs

Like any website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers keep short technical logs when a page is requested. A log line typically holds the IP address of the request, the time, the page asked for, the browser's user-agent string and whether the request succeeded. These records exist to keep the service running, to spot faults and to defend against abuse. They are kept only for a limited period set by the provider and are not combined with any other information. We do not use them to identify readers.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest: a website cannot be delivered securely without such logs.

The cookie bar

The first time you visit, a bar at the bottom of the page asks for your choice about browser storage. Your answer is saved in your browser's local storage so the bar does not return on every page. That entry stays on your device, is never sent to us and contains nothing but the choice itself. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings deletes it whenever you wish. More detail is on our Browser Storage Notice.

When you email us

Writing to us means we see your email address, any name you sign with and the contents of your message. The contact form on our site does not send anything itself; it opens your own email program with the text filled in, and you decide whether to press send. We use your message only to read and answer it, or to correct an article if you have pointed out an error. Correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed, normally within twelve months, unless a longer period is required by law. Writing to us never puts you on a newsletter or mailing list.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and similar laws, you may ask us:

  • to confirm whether any of your personal data is held here and to send you a copy;
  • to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • to delete data we no longer have a reason to keep;
  • to limit our use of it, or to object to that use;
  • to hand over data you gave us in a portable format.

Send your request to the address above and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, the data protection regulator where you live or work can hear your complaint.

Children

The site is written for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly receive messages from minors, and if we learn that we have, we delete them.

Changes

If the way the site works changes, for example if a new feature ever needed to store something, this notice will be updated before the change goes live.
